The mission, as the overall objective of the company, transforms personnel management into a system. Through the mission, the company can establish its functionality and develop core corporate regulations. The mission serves two important functions: external and internal.

The external function of the mission involves providing external stakeholders with objective information about the organization’s philosophy and purpose:

  • The methods it employs in its activities,
  • The resources it has at its disposal,
  • The image it forms,
  • The ethics it upholds,
  • The communication means through which it interacts with partners, competitors, and consumers.

The internal function of the mission involves promoting unity and cohesion within the organization, aligning enterprise goals with employee objectives, fostering employee identification with the organization, creating a favorable organizational climate, enhancing motivation, ensuring the continuity of objectives in the development of enterprise strategies and tactics. Through values, ideals, and principles of relationships, an ideal behavior model in production is formed.
